DOG VACCINATIONS
Rabies:
There are two options for Rabies Vaccines. A one year or a Three year. If you get the one year, the vaccine is good up to 10 days prior to expiration date. If you get the three year, the vaccine is good up to 10 days prior to expiration.
Rabies must be given either EVERY YEAR, for the yearly vaccine, or EVERY THREE years for the 3 year vaccine
No exceptions, city rule.
DHPP:
DHPP .A one year or a Three year. If you get the one year, the vaccine is good up to 10 days prior to expiration date. If you get the three year, the vaccine is good up to 10 days prior to expiration.
If your three year DHPP vaccine is over 1 year old, you will need another 5-10 days prior to arrival.
Bordetella:
Bordetella must be given EVERY 6 MONTHS.
It does not matter if the vaccination is "good for one year".
If your yearly bordetella vaccine is over 6 months old, you will need another 5-10 days prior to arrival.

RABIES
EVERY 1 YEAR OR 3 YEAR
A FATAL, yet preventable disease transmitted through direct contact (such as broken skin and mucous membranes in the eyes/nose).
ABOUT
Rhinotracheitis- feline herpes virus, causes runny nose & decreased appetite
Calicivirus-can result in pneumnonia. Kittens and senior cats are especially vulnerable.
Panleukopenia-also known as distemper. Symptoms include vomiting & diarrhea
